Here is a cedar fan that I rarely do. I really like the colors and the character of the wood. I did this Glen Van Antwerp style with a draw knife.

So Skip, where do you live? Do you spend a lot of time carving? like you said, there are not a lot of fan carvers out there. It is always nice to see other’s works, the different styles and techniques. The reason I started the blog was because there wasn’t a lot out there.
So how did you get into fan carving? and how long have you been doing it?
It was nice to hear from you, and I am looking forward to seeing your carvings.
