​Here we have it folk. I have been honored by my city as Artist of the Month. I have my carvings on display at the city’s library and city hall for the entire months of October and November. I even have an interview on the local city TV channel seen in the link below. My piece starts at 7:54. And just so you know, there is more than 2 fan carvers in Michigan. But Glen Van Antwerp and David and Sally Nye have been a big influence on me.

I got a nice little spread in the local paper. No article, but the nonetheless, recognition.

So here is the reason why I have been fairly quiet the past few months. I have been preparing for my exhibit for “Featured Artist of the Month” at Sterling Heights Library and City Hall. I submitted my application back in March and was accepted. It is a great honor to have my carvings on display to the public. My exhibit will be there for 2 months through the end of November.
